women are powerful in their anger, 

their hunger, their fertility, their skills, 

their sensitivity, all of those in themselves. 

we know hunger and blood and pain 

better than anyone, and we are stronger 

when we understand that, 

and when we respect each other. 

I am more fragile than I like to appear, 

but also way stronger than I could ever imagine. 

If that doesn't make me proud of being a woman

and whomever I am, nothing will.
