Lighthouse

We shall shine on earth
and on and for each other
even from miles away
no matter what comes forth
and be together,
tomorrow, if not today.

And maybe in the north
get to remember
that no matter what they say
we know what is light -
it still deserves to feel bright
when night comes to play.
