Tell me there will come a time
when this will be more than a story
but a thing I feel and have in my body
way beyond this mind of mine
Tell me that even with every flaw
I shall get what I deserve,
for it is letter of law
and a wish born in the nerve.
Tell me I'm really gonna be okay,
that I'll change, that I'll expand
and learn to appreciate the pathway
that takes to my true homeland.
